Today we pushed an update the primary purpose of which is to ensure that JNPG will continue to work even if our servers go down for whatever reason, ensuring that the game will always be playable with all user courses for as long as folks wish to play the game.

If anyone detects any issues with the update please let us know. Thanks

Thanks for the info...  so will PG just become solely a single player game or will we still be able to play mutiplayer via the lobby with other players?

Multiplayer will continue to work for as long as Steam supports it...

Dont read anything specific into this we have no plans to shut down the servers but we know alot of people were concerned about this so we wanted to eliminate any concerns people might have.

Disconnected from the internet, fired up JNPG and user made courses were still in the carousel.  Played a few holes on a random selection of them with no issues.  Many thanks, Andrew.

Let's hope not.  Some of us thought this update would never happen.  Optimism!

This is great news IMO. New courses, that's all that matters.

And the time to create them...
And that CF is included in that action...

If server goes down, api tournaments will obviously not work.

Not true, I sorted that out too, unless you are referring to Official Tournaments which will not work.  But other club ones will unless your server is down

Getting this when selecting SOLO. I haven't went on in a very long time so maybe this is the way it is now? When I click on Create a Game, I do see the Carousel but I get this one first.

Obviously we’d all love to be on the PG2 train, but thank you for doing what you can to ensure PG1 survives as long as possible.

Same here...  it appears the Recorded Rounds tab fires up first, but you can simply click on the create new game button and takes you to the normal carousel to pick which course you want to play.
