Neil Peart was on my top 3 rock drummer list (John Bonham & Carl Palmer).  :(

Glioblastoma - I believe another Canadian rock legend died of the same condition, Gord Howie of The Tragically Hip. RIP.

I really don't know what planet I'm on right now.

I've only ever wanted to do two things in my life. Be a famous drummer or a pro golf architect.

The two men who I've admired most in their respective fields are both gone, within days of each other. One may be not such a surprise, but the other an absolute thunderbolt from nowhere.

Life goes on but the world sure feels like it has two huge holes in it now.

I saw them play at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino CA in 1980 and they blew me away. I loved their music ever since. I was shocked!

I saw them do "All the Worlds a Stage,"  Neils hair was down to his butt just about and the kit looked awesome.

When Geddy said "Ladies and Gentleman the Professor on the Drum Kit" during Working Man, it just floored us!

God Bless

First concert for me, age 15, Alpine Valley Music Theatre.

Saw them five times in total, including at the end, which was arguably as good as any show they did.
