While taking a break from Ballyhack I got this great map from Justin.

This is one of the two courses located at The Giants Ridge resort in northeastern Minnesota. Both were designed by Jeff Brauer.

Some very generous fairways mixed with a few tight holes. A few par 4s are driveable with favorable conditions. The par 5s provide some good eagle opportunities.

The course plays well with firm conditions and fast greens.

Hope to have folks out on the course soon.

Nice photos...  When will we see some of the game version?  :)

Went to Digital Storm and ordered me up a nice gaming machine :)

Intel i3 chip at 3.9G

16 gig DDR4 RAM

GeForce 970 GTX 4gig vid card

240G SSD

1TB HD

Windows 10

It's HERE!!  JNPG runs great with all the bells and whistles at max or close to it...  I still turn 3D render off for the swing, tho.

That really looks beautiful!!

See, you don't need 3d grass to make a course look great, you just need good texturing and you did that.

.

Its not just nice texturing, the planting is great also.  That said, 3DG would do nothing for these views.  For the most part, it only helps when standing over the ball.

This is awesome! I played both courses here a few years ago, and the Quarry was definitely my favorite of the two. From what I remember, the Legend gets more plays and is higher rated, but I preferred the Quarry by far. Can't wait to play your version, Bortimus!

Looks pretty good so far. I actually designed this very same course for WGC some 8-10 years ago or something. I remember it being very scenic and that most of the holes look very unique from one another. It was very enjoyable to play and fun to design. In fact, when PG first game out, I actually had like 2 holes finished for this course but just couldn't get more time to finish because of other commitments. Let me know if you want any feedback or testing. I certainly know the course like the back of my hand after working on the design for some 120 hours.
