Charles maybe you know the answer to something that has bugged me for years. You can create Seasons in Links in which I have 5 Seasons going at the same time. In TW, I have the four main Tours going simultaneously. In PGA 2K21, Korn Ferry and the PGA Tour. The only one where you can have a computer playing partner is Links, and they only allow you to have one player that is randomly picked be the game itself. I have had female Anis with Pro Tour male names join me as playing partners or enteties who were never on tour. In TW  on their PGA Tour, no playing partners are possible. I don't think 2K21 offers the option of playing partners either. Yet, when you create your own tourneys you are able to insert anybody that came with the game or that you created, without any problem. On the real Tours you have 2, 3, or 4 competitors that make up a group. This playing solo kind of sucks. Any idea why this is?

Its been awhile since i played the Tour to be honest. In the beginning i played rounds to get the PGA card but since i've moved on to live online rounds with friends and tournament play in societies. I have no real experience regarding the PGA play other than what i wrote. The extra bonus to playing the tour is also getting special sponsored stuff (clubs, clothes etc) which can not be bought with coins. This unlocks in the game once you start competing on the tour.

Playing live with others is my thing as i play on regular tee times with different players all over the world. That could be stroke, match, skins, stableford a/o team matches with 2 v 2 formats. Its easy to set up a round with friends through Steam and also connect with the Steam voice chat. You should connect with some players in Steam (i.e. check them as friends) and you are good to go.

Also, become a member in a Society (there are lots of them in the Society section) and play tournaments that way. Its easy to compete as you dont have to do anything as the setup is pre-set by the admins of the society. Ofcourse the biggest Society world wide is TGC tours with a huge following: https://www.tgctours.com/#

They have a big selection of different tours for different levels and difficulties and track every player as they manage the playing stats. You need to subscribe with the admin and in-game.

For me, i enjoy a smaller Society on the highest level. I can play a tournament every week and add ghosts if i want as playing partners from that society so as to emulate playing in a flight just like in a tournament (PS: you can switch off the results of ghost rounds so you cant see the end score on the ghost selection screen before you select a ghost round).

Here is a question I am sure most of you course design gurus would be able to answer. As you know, both PG and 2K21 use the Unity software in course design. Over at 2K21 they do let you upload your designs. How much trouble would it be to adapt a design created for PG and upload it in the course files at 2K21? Obviously you must own the 2K21 game. Is one hindered in the sense of having to use whatever version of unity is offered to you in that platform? Is it possible without having to redesign a course that is a finished project and maybe with only slight alterations would work in the 2k21 platform? I know that some of you here do have that game, so is it feaseable to take the designs that you have and make them work in the 2K21 platform?

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to convert a Perfect Golf course design to PGA 2K21. Where PG uses an open course design system via Unity, PGA 2K21 is a completely closed system that has course files mainly stored on external servers. There is a user-made LIDAR elevation import tool that was created for TGC 2019, which can be used to bring elevation data into PGA 2K21. Any chance of a conversion between the two games would need to go through that tool, but it would probably need to be modified to make it possible. You would need to first convert the PG Unity height map data into a LIDAR format that the tool could recognize. Same for the terrain shapes that would be exported from Unity via the Course Forge OBJ export. It would be a lot of work to get the conversion to work and the most you could get out of it would be elevations and terrain shapes. Objects and trees would need to be placed again in PGA 2K21.

Thank you for that information Brian. I was sure this would not be an easy conversion. It sounds like you would almost have to start from scratch. I've been playing 2K12 for about a month now. To my suprise, the courses featured and there are many of them, are quite well done. A game to compliment the PG courses like 2K12 sure would have been nice.
