I feel like I'm actually out there on the golf course playing IRL. I know that all textures aren't highly detailed or look the best they can (yet) but I really feel like I'm out on a RL course. Having that feeling makes me think and play my shots and the game like I would IRL. Great job PP, hat's off to you all for being the first PC golf game in a long time that has made me feel that way.

I echo those thoughts also. It is so immersive I actually feel guilty taking a mulligan.

Glad to know its like real golf - therefore learning golf is as of now not on my bucket list anymore what a pain in the neck.
Little known fact when King Arthur was trying to make a golf course and he ran into some conflict. King Arthur: There's a peace only to be found on the other side of war. If that war should come I will fight it! Other important fact. Read the Book of John in the Holy Bible.

Well it's not totally like real life golf, it sure doesn't cost you as much to play as IRL....LOL ![]()

Had a round last night with 17 bunker shots, about halfway thru I just started aiming at them and of course hit my staightest shots of the round, right into the bunker. About as real as it can get. Lol
And the meek shall inherit the earth..

Don't get me wrong the game is good but nothing compared to the real thing. The pure joy of setting up a low fade out of the rough under tree branches and run it up onto a green or to hit a high draw that lands within 5 feet of the pin and sticks is better then sex because the reality of doing it is so rare.
( the shot I mean not the sex) I love nothing more then standing on the 18th tee with the sun just starting to set and the shadows creeping in as you gaze at the sky in all its glory of colors. That is not something I think any game can truly replicate and that isn't a knock on this game . Sorry but Mother Nature is the true artist and to witness her magic and beauty is to me part of the real golf experience.
