Hey guys, here's a top-ranked public course in California...I couldn't do it justice, but I thought I'd upload it anyway.  <_<

If you've played it in real life and see something way off, let me know.

After 2 quick rounds didn't come across anything obvious. Looks good and thanks for sharing.

I just saw this today.  Checked out all 18 holes in practice mode.  Absolutely no issues with FPS.  In my opinion the most spectacular course you have released and very well done.  Love the panorama as well.  I looked at the website and their green fees are not bad.  I was a snowbird for a number of years in the Phoenix area but the green fees there have really jumped.  Oak Quarry looks like a fun course to play for real and your version for PG.   Thanks again for another great course!

Thanks for the "likes" and great compliments, guys...Which skybox would you rather have, the one that's in the beta now or this partly cloudy skybox?

The original, left...partly cloudy, right.  :D

I think the 'partly cloudy' looks best too.

I agree with party cloudy... then will turn on "chance of rain" and hope it does!  haha

Okay, it's unanimous...we'll keep the original.  hehe

Okay, here's the final, and my 3 wood challenge! No more than a 3 wood off the tee or a 5 wood from the fairway.    :P (I was lucky to finish -2)

 1. Fixed the duck wanting to "disco dance" on 1st tee when using pause render.

 2. Added a texture to the water tank.

 3. Fixed the OB on #8 and #16 so we get more drop options.

  Final: Have fun!

Good fun!  Except for my double on 16.  The quarry areas look great, nice mix of textures and maybe a few rock assets?  The 18th green would look nice with some 3D rocks but that's nitpicking.  Maybe in the future there'll be a Brian Silvernail version with some low poly houses?  :P

Thanks again for keeping the fire burning mate.

PS. The course is also on GS Pro.  Don't get bitter about it the way I would.

Thanks JT!  :D Right, everytime I get on 16 tee, I'm like "okay, just hit it straight, too much right and the pitch from hell, too much left, down in the valley"  :P   Okay, I'll keep the "extra" rocks in mind for any future updates. I'd love to see a version by Mr. Silvernail, low poly houses and low poly grass and flower planting!  :D  I'll experiment with some low-poly houses and stuff and maybe I can fill in some of that empty space down in the valley, while keeping the frame rates decent.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on the GS Pro site...I just wish I had room for a Sim... :(  (sigh)  :)

Some of us played it online last week and we all thought the course was fictional because we could not believe that Oak Quarry could be carved out the terrain.

I/we thought this was your best work.  Much appreciated by the 'balls of steel' crew as is all your work  :)

Thanks Mailman! It's funny how a course I was "least" happy with seems to some, my best course.  :D

Thanks for the kind words and the link to the video...I'm looking forward to watching how the "Pros" play it!  :P

Edit: I just watched the video, I was rooting for you after your ball slipped into the "gateway to hell!" lol

I have no idea what happened, there.  I noticed some bad texture spots, also. I'll do a little update and move that tree a little. (that might help)

You guys are fun to watch and listen to. Great stuff!

Yes I now remember that hole.

Re how the 3 of us now play online - No BLI, No Grid, In game cams allowed but Custom Pro Mode (so No aiming in top view).

I think we have been playing twice weekly for 2 years now.
