dang i hate going backwards in the process of downloading 08 just to keep up with my friends in the caddyshack we have our own server

so we can still get together and play,oh well it is a way to keep the social end of the fun going just dread having to get used to 08 again.

and in 6 months or so will have to relearn PP. i guess it is time to start working with 08. cause this is what happens when you don't have a decent golf game to play.lol

5000 matches about 200 hrs and 32" long 8"wide  back in december i had to kick a 10yr painkiller habit from a motorcycle accident i had back in 02

my dr told me i needed to give em up because i need a couple of operations and where i was in the spectrum he told me they would have a hard time finding something to kill the pain afterwards so i gave em up,at the time i was not feeling very social so i pretty much quit playing TWO and picked the matchstick thing up.well after getting over them i found out what kind of depression i was in so it was a good move.my whole world has gotten much brighter after i turned the lights back on and in the future im not going to let myself get sprung like i was.

thanks for the great comments folks

Great story Dave.  I wish I had the patience (and skill) to do that.  Good stuff.

Dave, you won't be sorry, it is the BEST game out their right now.. It IS the most up to date in every way I can think of (graphics and mechanics), even though it is 5 years old... Your definitely not going backwards if you compare it to TWO...

Plus just join up with coursedownloads.com and start enjoying 1000's of custom courses... For free... :)

different computer and i could'nt figure out a way to bring up the old player.

axe we are going to start playing on 08 when TWO shuts down we have a hamichi server and teamspeak you and anyone else is more then welcome to join us there are some TSer in the group we also have a ladder page, all you have to do is click the link between the 2 pics in my sig fill out a little app that is mostly questions about TWO they have not been changed yet.lol and then you become a member of our guild site and all the server info will be there along with the teamspeak info. the reason for the app was to weed out the people that we knew where using multi personas. that used to be my job which im going to see about getting back. like i said anyone on here is more then welcome to join us.

I would encourage everyone who wants to play TW08 to search eBay and Google in general for
a "Tiger Woods PC PGA 2008" DVD. Doesn't matter if it's used as long as it comes with the DVD's Key Code.

what a mess, went to course downloads and started messing with the twcaddie to download player made courses

i could not get it to work followed the instructions in the forums, and it still wont let me install courses, and now every time i try to open 08 it locks my computer up

what a drag. i have uninstalled it redownloaded it and still the same, seems when i downloaded the latest .net framework is where my problem started uninstalled it to

before the last game download and still the same i ran my registry cleaner and mcfee looking for anything and found nothing.im so sick of downloading utilitys on the net and getting all these other programs and tool bars thrown at me without the option of not getting them

Once installed no need to keep the DVD in the tray to play.
