Are there any limitations as to what the community designers will be able to create in terms of importable 3D?

Are there any specific software programs that would need to be used if someone wanted to create an out-building, fences, walls, benches, clubhouses etc.

I only ask as DAZ Studio 4.6 Pro is free from their website and wondered if software like this could be used to create 3D objects for Course Forge/Perfect Golf, as it seems you can create characters, buildings, plants etc, especially seeing as things like 3D MAX are out of some folks reach, so to speak.

;)

@Daz - I presume you need to check what format extensions the program can save in, and then check if Unity supports these files for conversion/import.

3DS Max is £3,200 to buy, so it is way out of my league, unless I win the lottery. But if I won the lottery I would not bother to design golf games, so I would not need it anyway

Most freeware 3d design software exports with formats that Unity can use, namely .fbx files
