We are please to announce the immediate release of update 1.2.1.3
 
New Features
 
Introduction of Modes of Play
Our game play has been converted over to use Mode of Play files which will allow for the customized creation of different game play types.  With over 50 events pre programmed into the game play we will be able tp push out new mop files.  We also plan to create a MOP editor which will allow players to build their own MOPs down the road.

Kick and Replace Players
We have now introduced the capability for the game host to kick players who drop from the game. IF you are in a team based game you cannot kick a player, you must replace the player with one of your players in your player profile.  This will protect the integrity of the game play type while still allowing everyone to continue playing after a player has dropped.  
 
The host may wish to give the dropping player time to resume his game in case he dropped legitimately from the game
 
Improvements
 
Networking
We have made some significant improvements to the network code which should cause you to see some improvements in game play.  We have reduced the amount of network traffic back and firth between the client and the host resulting in quicker packet transition between the two.  
 
Nat Punch
We have improved the NAT Punch technology and also added in relay mechanisms where the NAt Punch failed.  This should allow everyone to play online.  The connect time is slightly longer so we added in a connecting symbol so you know something is happening.
 
PLEASE NOTE!
 
1) This is an all new Master Server so only updated players games will be visible to you
2) Please make sure you wait for everyone to complete Loading and be on the tee before starting the round
 
Player Information
We added additional information to the player banners in the top left of the screen including the shot count and the winnings from event based mops
 
Bug Fixes
 
  • Fixed excessive release in the bunkers
  • Fixed animation not rotating at all when slope he was standing on was very steep
  • Fixed the Stimp Meter value selection in the UI
  • Fixed shot total for players in the hole

Illinois was the new course. It was rolled out yesterday to everybody, while the remainder of build 1.2.1.3 was till being tested (mainly the networking and MOP functionality). With AJ's post above, all the 'testers' and PG community are now all on the same build.

 

Also the existing courses have had a bit of TLC ad look a little sharper and give slight increases in FPS in some cases.

Feels like there is a bit more delay between the club making contact and the ball leaving than before this patch? Also hit the hole the few times putting and the ball reacts really weird, gets stuck and then suddenly spins off.

I noticed the same thing. On putts the putter is almost pass the ball before it moves.

Ironically the improved performance has resulted in the animation playing smoother and quicker.  Right now we delay the ball by X seconds and with the animation now playing faster on more systems the ball is delayed too long.  

We really need to get the ball launch tied in to an animation key frame, but we want to change the animation so its a bit of wasted effort
