D,
I pilfered this comment from another forum:-
To run quality 3D you do need 120HZ for active 3D which is way way better than passive. You don't even get full 1080P with passive. 120HZ is also great if the TC doesn't want to use 3d he will be able to view incredible frame rates at accompany that refresh rate. Tn panels aren't as good as IPS but they do make some amazing TN panel monitors that get great reviews. Check out the reviews for the BenQ on Amazon.
I'm no expert on this area of hardware, so hope this helps some.

I have a BenQ 3D Monitor, which is great for what I use it for (atm I watch IMAX 3D movies alot and some other movies. When I get home I'll post the exact name of the monitor. Plus: It wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be.
Who cares...

ok, mine is a BenQ XL2410T and it really is a good monitor in 2D and 3D. Think they have newer Models now, but you should have a look at it. Maybe you can find a test on the www
Who cares...

Sounds good to me. Tip: Try to get Nvidia 3D Vision if you have a Nvidia Graphic card. Active shutter is better on Monitors I think. The red/blue glasses didn't work well imo.
Who cares...

Hope you enjoy it Dave. Going off at a tangent, are there many PC games available in 3D? I must admit I know nothing about 3D, only just got used to colour TVs

TWO should have been 3D (cause Unity supports 3D), but I never tried. Command & Conquer (some of the "newer" games) are supposed to be 3D. There are some games out there which have a full 3D engine. Games which use unity should be able to support 3D. I'm using my monitor for movies but I hope PG will use the 3D engines of Unity. I bet it would be a blast to play Golf in 3D
Who cares...

I have an nvidia 3d monitor and it really adds to the immersion when playing games in 3d hopefully perfect golf will be great in 3d as well.
