Let me start by saying that I did not search the forums for the answers, so if there is a thread(s) that already answer these questions, just point me there.

We all know that the perfect swing is 12 o'clock for 100% power and 6 o'clock for perfect snap. Here are my questions -

  1. What is the penalty increase (if any) for a missed snap when going over 100%?
  2. Does that penalty increase go up the more you go over 100%? (into red vs yellow)
  3. Does the penalty decrease proportionately for missed snaps at less than 100%?

I ask these questions to assess the risk / reward aspect of certain shots. In the case of #3, I would really like to see this feature if it is not already in the game.

Thanks in advance.

1.  A very basic answer is that it depends on just how far you miss the snap by as other factors are involved.  A driver will  deviate further then any other club (but in proportion) simply because of the distance traveled.

2.  See above.

3.  See above.

The best way to actually find your answers is to hit the range and experience what happens at various power levels and snap results.

Answers -

1 - yes but the value changes depending on assists

2 - yes the more you overswing the bigger the penalty

3 - not at this time but of course if you hit with less power and spin the ball will tend to go a little less offline on missed snaps etc.
