Thanks, and tell Jethro to get shed of that B&S engine,

here in the South we let gravity do the work. Hate he had to go

gigging all night just for me. I'll send him a jug of Peach flavored

corn squeezins' for his effort.

Ok...speaking as one that lives in Alabama...um...we are not all like this, nor is it a good representation of the majority of us Alabamians. Just putting that out there for the record.

I can't speak for Alabama, but here in South Carolina, we

are all a bunch of red-neck, beer-guzzlin', 'bacca chawin',

gun-totin', 4-wheelin', flag wavin', trailer trash, and proud of it.

I'm sure Richard meant no harm, and I take it with a grain

of salt, after all, everyone knows the North

has no Southern Charm.

To my other brother Rick, I meant no harm at all. You should see how people depict us up here in ND. Don't know if these are authentic of not, but they purport to be Jeff Foxworthy's take on ND. I know, he's from Georgia, not Alabama, but..... Just clean fun my friend. Maybe a little 'sick' humor, but fun.

And here's a ND weather report, also more fact than fiction

The only difference between my picture and the linked jokes is that linked jokes are FACT!! :D

I took no offense, but rather in the spirit it was intended. I was just covering my ass and those of my friends and family. It's all good my friend!   ;)

This is probably a silly question, but is it required to surround each individual hole with a rough spline? Or can you surround multiple holes?  My course mostly have holes that run next too each other and if I outline each hole with rough, there are places where the rough spline could overlap. Is that ok, or could that create problems. I would like to minimize the blend bump from the CF terrain to the Unity terrain and if it is possible to do this by outlining multiple holes and areas with a single rough spline it would look better.

Thanks for the help.

You can surround multiple holes with the same rough spline, no problem.

Yes... as K11 says. I think it's only the limit on the mesh that determines how big the Spline can be. So.. I'd wrap as many as possible in the same mesh personally...  this is where the planning comes in prior to your layout. Knowing what shapes are wrapped with which spline is now a planning consideration. Using things such as cut-outs and parent/child splines all need to be considered early on...

Why is the textures layed down here stepped up? I watched K11's video and his render flat. Something in the set up probably but I can't find it

looks like your fringe Depth setting in the library isn't set up correctly. Mine is set like this

OArO7MC.jpg

Not sure if it is correct but looks OK. If all else fails, you might be able to just over write the default library with the origional, That might reset everything . I haven't tried it. so I am not sure on that either.

Have you changed the initial 0.15cm height the mesh sits...? It isn't inside the LL, but inside one of the first icon menus..

That's the thingy then... change it back to 0.15 and all will be as it should. It isn't to say you can't change this number, but you need to have a better understanding as to why you would want the mesh to sit higher. You'll likely need to Insert Splines again for it all to deflate..

Unique, both your fairway and green have fringe layers assigned. Check these as well.

Also, to sit on the terrain properly, all meshes must be enclosed within a rough or deep rough mesh. And that ought to have a max Blend width of 1m to make the transition down to the Unity terrain as smooth as possible.
