Any ideas or suggestions for solving my problem? I get a Login window where I enter my password, then get a window that indicates that I "could not connect to the network, check connection and try again or run offline". As far as I know nothing has changed with my connection and PG will not run offline. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just a 'SWAG' on my part, but it sounds to me as if you may have received a 'corrupted' Steam update. You could uninstall and reinstall Steam and see if that helps. I'd recommend that you wait awhile before doing that, just because I hate doing it because of fear of screwing something else up. Someone, may come along with a better suggestion. If not, give it a try. Sorry, I can't be more help.

I'm just guessing from the wording of the error you recieved-

I uninstalled Steam then Re-installed and it still cannot connect. I checked my internet/Network connection and I am properly connected, but for some reason Steam will no longer connect. As I originally said everything was fine until after the Steam update. What is really weird is that I can access the Steam website and login without any problem, but when I try to access PG or even the Steam help desk it states that Steam is not connected.
As it now stands I paid $20 for PG that I cannot access because of this problem with Steam connectivity.

Just a shot in the dark-but if you can log into steam , navigate to Perfect golf in LIBRARY , right click select properties then local files and finally "verify integrity of cache". It will verify PG is up to date.
Steam has a seperate login for reporting trouble tickets and requires ANOTHER name/password-I know it seems ridiculous but it is how they run the trouble/support.
Good luck
