The update sounds great with many of the needed fixes being addressed. I join the others in thanking you for the hard work and for communicating with us along the way.
I do have one comment ... you said " The lob shot has an added difficulty to it in that missing the snap early will result in under hitting the shot and late will see it come out lower and faster than intended"
I believe that is the opposite of what it should be... an early snap is basically a hook, and a late snap is a slice. Given that, you should reverse what you said above.... early snap should be lower and faster as the club face is closed, and late snap the face is open resulting in a shorter, higher and right of target result. Thanks!

That is true for normal shots but not for flop shots. With flop shots, the club face is already open and you're not turning your wrist over at impact. Goal is distance control. The Devs have it right. Early snap for a flop should simulate a fat shot while late release shot simulate thin shots.

I must have played more rounds these past 2 weeks on this new release than any time before. I just can't stop, it's not playing a PC golf game, it's more like playing real golf on my PC.
This is a great update!

Minor Update:
We have one more course to update, and there are still a couple of camera bugs in the offline mode we cant get to the bottom of yet.

Andrew,
You have stated the situation quite clearly to my mind, please do not feel in any way 'pressured' to release any news other than at the times YOU (the devs) think it relevant to do so, and if THEY don't like it, well........ here's a skipping rope......
And if any of you speak to the team in anyway that I sense it with a lack of respect - that skipping rope in MY HANDS doubles up as a whip.
- I will not see this forum descend in to WGT and my intellect and my manner is 100% behind that.
edit -
.....and I would urge you all to follow my stance - up a drainpipe and in to the party
we will protect the team at a most fundamental level.
edit 2 -
they are under a lot of pressure we don't see, just remwember that - imagine if it was your job.

Personally, I'm fine with not having the one course that is not yet replanted until later. If the camera glitches can be fixed soon, go ahead and release the update. I wouldn't mind.

With this huge upgrade in mind, I'm wondering if it will change the minimum system requirements? Right now, the game runs fine on my current system (see in my signature).

I wouldn't mind, either. If the past is any indication, to do what is left might take another month.

With Windows 10 coming out shortly, has anyone tested a beta version with PG? I'm debating on whether to upgrade or not.
I did, but ended up back on Windows 8.1 (due to 980 Ti drivers not being out for w10) - Worked fine, but some of the UI stuff wasn't showing up right (arrows/scrollbars, etc).

I concur with Buck, gameplay is fine on Windows 10 good fps. There are issues with UI items in settings menu, club selection, arrows etc..
