Very happy with all aspects of this update except, I feel

the slow meter cutoff should be 15 ft. instead of 10 ft.

So at first it was 6 feet and now 10 and next 15 and then 20 and then 30 and then 100.  LOL!

Had a feeling we would start seeing this request.  And I'm not knocking you - seriously.  Just out of curiosity (I don't really have a dog in the hunt - I'm a motion swing guy anyway) why do you want to see it bumped up further?

I think Andygev35 is referring to backwards bounce, not backspin.  Ive seen it a few times.  Most of the time into headwind on breezy/gusty.  But the bounce can actually land on level or fairly level green and bounce back (on one bounce)about 10-15 feet even before a spin.  Ive also seen it spin after the bounce when it starts to grip the green.

My guess is this is due to wind more than any physics of the green but I dont play on calm so unsure if this happens in calm conditions.  Have to catch a video of it next time I see it.

Did you actually read the text I highlighted in red?

I have to admit I don't like two speeds of putting meter, which is good because it's forced me to give the mouse swing another try. Apart from me duffing a few shots (I still can't work out why) it seems to have moved on a lot since I last tried it. I might persevere with it now.
I have one of those Microsoft ergonomic types of mouse which I don't think really lends itself to the mouse swing.

I to would like to see it bumped up to 15 ft and the reason is because you have to click to fast. Because of this the snap penalty at the 6:00 is set to allow a missed snap. Id rather have to hit my snap and not have to click that fast. I think it would add a lot to the feel of the putt.

By the way - I got back into town last night and tried the new update.  Holy cow!!  The putting fix for motion swing is amazing.  It easily took 3-4 strokes off my game!

Mebby,   Would really like to see the meter the same speed for all putts,

but if not, 15ft. gives a more realistic chance of hitting the snap line.

Heh.  I know a guy that wants it harder to hit the click snap.  He says its too easy to hit it perfect on off/off LOL.

Crow357, I am an old geezer and my reflexes aren't what they used to be.

Whatever the Dev's decide to do is fine with me, just my opinion.

If by "duffing a few shots" you mean the ball dribbles forward only a few yards it's because your back swing is too slow.

Jim, I only laugh because no matter where the line is drawn not everyone will like it. I'm sure glad that I'm not the decision maker, poor Andrew and Mike. ;) At least they have indicated that it's still a WIP so it will be interesting to use it as it evolves and to read all of the reactions. I have a much better chance to win the "Megamillion' lottery than I have trying to guess what the final version will be. When I read all of the various posts regarding the 'putting meter', it reminds me of the old Al Capp (Google if you don't know who he is), "I'm an expert on nothing, but I have an opinion on everything" :D

Oh, believe me Jim, I'm no fan of making it harder.  I usually play Max/Max and feel good if I end up under par.
