Well I'm off and already busy with hole 4, right on track to do a hole/day.

This is what the community needs.  Plenty of new users getting to grips with Unity and Courseforge to start creating new courses and although I don't know how many hours both you and DoGzz have put into your designs so far, there appears to be really quick progress already.  Excellent stuff!

Great work Highfade, looks awesome.

Recalculate the mesh on the Hole one teebox(first pic)

I think I see some separation at the very front.

May just need a touch of smoothing. Hard to tell

but something there. Great Job!

Yes, 1st noticed that on the screenshot. Does that happen when you use the rectangular shape option and your surface isn't completely flat?

Remers, I've started on the 1st of this month so it goes quite fast. Not as quick as TGC courses but waaay better that APCD.

Nice pics! I think if you added an extra control point or two along the front edge of that first tee the slight mesh glitch would disappear.

Don't forget to save your scene as.. and name it something else from time to time.

Also every couple of days back up your project folder completely.

I do this and I've been using CF for a year or two as you never know when gremlins might strike.

I'd say more of a precaution against computer malfunction than a

CF or Unity Crash. The APCD would crash at the drop of a hat.

If I coughed with the APCD open, it would crash.

I literally laughed out loud, Matthew. Out of ten courses I did in APCD only four were released, the other six were corrupted.

Yes Unity and CF are a LOT more stable than APCD but it's always better to backup and be safe rather than sorry - there is NOTHING more annoying that doing good work and losing it because there was a power cut or something!

At least a CF crash won't require you to have to re-do about 20 seam blends  :o
