What are the list of steps one has to take after logging on to invite a friend.

I am having an impossible time trying to understand how to invite friends.

1. Click on the name tag of the person you wish to befriend to get to his/her member profile

2. There click on the "Add me as a friend" button

3. Done. 

(4. Members can change their settings so that friendvites from others require their approval. If you did that, you would get a message on log-in that somebody wants to be your friend. Otherwise you will simply get a notification that you have a new friend)

 

To illustrate, I just friended you, in a completely superficial and random internet-friend kind of way, of course. Dump me if you mind, no problem. To access your own forum settings and friend list, click on your own name tag below the top bar, the one with a little arrow pointing down, and carefully weigh all your options in the "Manage Friends" selection.

When you log on, click on the icon between 1 "View New Content" & "YouTube"   when you hover your pointer over it, it will say 1(a)Open Quick Navigation  on the top row of indicators atop the page, then click 2 "Community", then click 3 "Registered Members", then click 4 "on any letter along the left side of the page" and find the nickname of the member you search for.
