Sometimes off the T I'm having to hit under trees   - how do we hit a punch shot low one

Little known fact when King Arthur was trying to make a golf course and he ran into some conflict. King Arthur: There's a peace only to be found on the other side of war. If that war should come I will fight it!    Other important fact. Read the Book of John in the Holy Bible.

It's quite easy JH. Just take a longer club and reduce the loft as much as you can.

I suppose some branches are just too low to hit under. Try a putter! ;-)

The best two clubs for this are the 7W and a Hybrid. By de lofting down it should work pretty well for you and I myself have become quite proficient at it due to the fact that my ball loves trees it seems. Lol.

Mebby I don't think your alone there as Medinah punishes you for the slightest miss hit in true US Open fashion. With that said I love that course.

Yea. I play Medinah most of the time simply for the challenge. If I shoot even pay there on TP it's a great day.

Honestly... Works just as well with a 4 iron or 7 iron really just adjust to lowest trajectory and swing away. For higher trajectory clubs, just don't swing as hard.

great video nice entertainment - what was the reasoning to hit the ball that way so low etc.

What I like about the 7W is that in the new deep rough it gets great distance out of it even on the low shots and I have replaced the 2H with it. If I try to use the 4I out of the heavy stuff I don't get anywhere near the % of distance that I do with that 7W. Always tinkering with clubs in this game and love that about the game.

Ah... Good to know. Starting to make a case for the 7W finding a spot in my bag!do you drop the 3I in exchange?

Lol. Hadn't even noticed that. Maybe when they do that they'll actually put the ball on a Tee when we are on the tee box. :)
