Is the Unity download around 1.5 Gig?

It says space need 14 Gig but the download assistant says the Unity part is just over a Gig.

I've got a limited download plan.

Thanks

TB,

If you're considering it for CF, private testing is currently limited to v5.0.2 of Unity 3D. You can find the download archive here:-

When I downloaded the 64Bit Windows version, the .exe file to download was 1.2GB

Thanks Daz

Yeah it's for CF. I'm not really a noob. I've used Unity and Blender a while ago. Murwillumbah GC on the way.

So this file should give you all the tools you need to start with?

I see

Unity installer

Unity 64 bit

Unity 32 bit

Cache Server

Built in shaders

Standard Assets

etc..

Corsair 750D case / Windows 10 64 bit / Intel i7 4790k w/HT Devil's Canyon  4.0 ghz ( over clock to 4.8 ghz. 4.4 cache )

The download gives you Unity 3D. Obviously choose the appropriate one for your OS, either 32Bit or 64Bit.

When you start a project it prompts you as to what asset packages (if any) you want to import upon starting you project.
