Suprised there arent more posts about the AI players.  Heres what happened last night.

Ive played online with a guy for 5 years  on various platforms.  last night we played our usual 9 hole matchplay and after 7 holes he was 2 up.  He asked me if Id noticed anything about his game and explained hed simply played as a robot player.   Id never even noticed which says a lot  for how good the AI player was playing and a great addition from the Devs.

We then  set an 9 hole alt shot game and 2 others joined.  All square after 9 holes.   My friend and I  were talking on skype and  we were both a bit suspicious as 1 of the othere took quite a while  on a couple of chip shots but put it down to neurosis.  Anyhow the other team won it on the 2nd extra hole then the game froze ( this happens a lot with AI players at the moment ) so we  felt that 1 of the others must have been a Computer player lol.

So the moral here is  how do you know whether or not your  playing a robot.   Perhaps a big C on his shirt or even  a K tattood on his forehead as in Red Dwarf would be a way forward.

Interesting though and still an enjoyable alt shot game.

Played a quick 9 last night against the AI, all skills set to 6.   It went fairly quick, however, the darn thing birdied every single hole including 3 chip ins, 2 which were a good distance away!    I guess I am not ready to be a "6" yet?

Wouldn't the Steam user icon be the same?

Anytime there are two of the same icons in one game, someone has obviously entered two players into the game.

But, I can see how it would be an issue if someone entered their CPU player, by themselves.

well , I been messen with the AI player to practice my game --works gr8 for that--neva thought he would be not noticeable when hitting with another player --that's interesting ----I did notice takes him awhile to continue after he hits - he has to wait for that timer to do its thing ---that's how one cud tell if a player is using a AI player --I assume---but really need an ID tag on him so others know --:)

Currently 2's can fire up a pretty decent round. It's certainly not an automatic. :D

One's are also capable of good rounds.  The last three rounds I shot with an all 1 player were 66, 62 and 68.

Yikes! I've never had 1's shoot those type of scores. Usually my 1's are the range of a few over par. ;)

It really surprised me too.  Shot two more today and got a 69 and 80.  More to their settings I would think.

This is confusing. So, which is the most skilled CPU rating? 1 or 9? Or, perhaps 10?
