Okay, good to see another Tournament... but here goes lol..

Why do I have to signup to your site, 3 times by the looks of things, to play in a game, that is signed upto through another platform that required registering ?

Now, I'll apologise for how that sounds, and appears very negative.

It is simply the way it is I guess? You are trying to support the game, which is commendable, and offer more participation through Tournaments. I'll happily do the same, but if this is the manner to which it needs achieving, I fear the hoops needed are too many at present. Hopefully this is a short-term thing?

So, even if we go through the process above, we may not get the chance to play in the event today...? Is there a deadline for the Tournaments ?

I think what I'm asking - is what's going on ?

Okay, I'm logged in - what Tour do I signup for to play the one displayed in my Tournament menu, inside PG ? It shows as Pro ingame, but all I see are things like Tour Pro, Mini Tour, Web.com, Optishot x 2.

Can't understand what I'm doing and worried about signing up to more than one, as the other pages said something about only being allowed to participate in one.

HELP ?

I had similar experience. I wanted to register for a pro tour but ended up having to register for the tour pro setting.

What's meant by "new players"? I've been a member at OGT for a while now. My OGT username and my Steam username are not the same. Do I have to change my OGT username to participate in the PG in-game tournaments? And how can I change my OGT username if it's necessary to do so?

Signing up to OGT is easy. I really can't see the problem here. They do this for nothing can't we just appreciate it?

It's the new Tournament that appears within the game now, but as it shows ingame, it is listed as PRO. From what I've worked out, the OGT Tours on their website don't have a PRO event... but I'm unclear..

Well sign appearing to not have a choice of a pro tour and signing up for tour pro I must say it has been a good experience I'm actually going to just play tour pro from now on. 2 round totalling 7 under par. It updates all your stats and scores onto the online golf tour website automatically so it really is a joy. Now onto the last 2 rounds with tougher conditions.... A battle for level par no doubt in the tougher conditions.

Suggestion ;

Could all those who signup, be automatically put into the current Tournament running within PG ?

This would enable all who want, to simply signup and go straight in. Those that wish to choose another Tournament, could then simply opt to select it knowing the default after signup.

At this point there is no Pro as Amateur is Mod Min and as close as you get but I would bet you will see a Pro Min Min soon. I myself would have played TP but I still can't get past no aim in top view as it is to time consuming to aim without it in my opinion so I will play Amateur till Pro arrives or Top view allowed.

The signups are explained, One is to register you for the site, then  two you log in after registration. Three you must signup for the tour you want to play in. The tours are different difficulty levels due to players abilities and desire to play, there is a link posted in step 3 speaking about each tour. PG has 5 different levels of play and we picked the easiest then the middle and then the hardest levels and this was done by members voting on these levels.

The Tournaments run wed to wed.

IanD there is going to be some reading involved, I just cant retype everything in this forum. I would suggest figuring out how to signup and get into Team speak. I will gladly assist you there.

This is a test of the integration of other independent tours into PG. It may not work flawlessly at the moment but it's going to wonderful to have more tours and tournaments to play in.

This is a placeholder for signup and once signed up and added to the database the appropriate and playable event will show up for you.
