I love seeing comments and pictures from K11, NoPutt, slewin, garynorman, RobC etc...   It's great to have some insight into their design process and what's being worked on currently.  Beautiful stuff.

I have seen some other course names pop up in the lobby.  Anyone else want to share some pics or comments about their current projects?

Lately I've seen the names Oceanview, Olde Stonewall, Ballyneal, Hayview (I think).  There's probably some others I'm forgetting.

Thanks for all the work you guys are doing!

I guess those of us on the private beta test group could post pics of these 'other courses' as we have been tasked with weeding out bugs in CF designs that the guys are working on. But I guess it is only fair to let the designers post pics of their own work, if they so wish.

I'd hate to post up some pics of say Bellerive CC, and the designer have wished his project to remain under wraps until it was finished. All I will say is that the guys putting the CF through its paces so that that when it comes to a community release it has been severely tested, are putting together some cracking designs, both fictional and real life recreations.

I totally understand designer's wishes to keep their projects under wraps.  I wouldn't want other people posting pics or info if it wasn't ok.

If nothing else, just extending appreciation and excitement for what lies ahead. :)

Love the fence, railing along the path and the multiple buildings.  Curious as to what real course it is based on.  Really look forward to being able to play it.

While waiting for instructions on how to upgrade old courses to the new Course Forge build, I started a fourth course which for lack of a better title I've dubbed "Jersey Hills". I decided to make something that resembled a private country club with an early Donald Ross or Tillinghast feel. I laid this out over the new CF standard plot with intimacy in mind; it sits in a very small footprint so you can see lots of surrounding holes from everywhere on the course. By most standards it is also very short at about 6920 yards or so to middle pins. Here are the par 4 8th and par 3 9th holes.

It occurred to me that those two holes aren't very "Ross looking", LOL.

I find the new trees have made a huge difference. The devs really took those suggestions to heart and gave us some much nicer objects this time around. These fill up space a lot better and create more intense shadows.

We also have more freedom to tweak with the textures, even the stock ones allow for some hue adjustment, so you will start to see less homogeny in the user created content.

Made those with AC3D :)

One day I sat down and made about five or six sets of 'em.... spheres, bubbles, cubes, rocks, whatever.

looks great Matt, a ? how do you get the clean edges by the water just using a texture, or do yours look as bad as mine in Unity, they don`t look that good in game and I find it difficult to add the hazard stakes when not being able to follow the waters edge properly, wondering if the water needs to be a certain depth to look right, mine are really shallow.
