As Mutley would say...  rassafrassarickarackets... nice retainers you have there... :)

Once I had the pleasure of seeing the bulks go in, and admire them from across the small pond, it allowed me to view how I wanted the green and retaining bunker to sit. As always, astroturf rolled out and sand awaiting, the CF allowed me the basic insertion of the major features. So, for those noting things.. I've just started using the CF..

So, as these images pretty much show.. I'd pretty much flattened the area I was looking to add the green and bunker upon. For purely my own personal reasons, I'm finding working that way gives me information to hopefully utilise easier at a later date. Knowing what height I set the tees for each hole, and greens individually, should allow me to manipulate the slopes a little easier once it becomes playable. So.. the bunkers.. I don't exactly want them as they appear..

A basic sandtrap is a little boring, but necessary I think. I pretty much hated this hole when playing it and always went long on it. It was a safer play, and I don't ever recall landing on the green.. Usually, I sliced it horribly and it went out of bounds to the right. So.. for those wanting to play it as I did, let's aim to make the bunker a little more resistant to balls getting past it..

Let's add some raised areas around the bunkers edges and see what it does..

Hmmm a little overcooked I think.. right idea, just not constructed well. Shovel time..

That's better... a little hard work never hurt..

Right.. I've also moved the fringe and green a little closer to the bulkheads. Don't want to the rough in play too much prior to the green, and with a little faith, it should hardly be noticeable from the tee. Ok, time for some finishing touches regarding the bulkheads.. so, let's get those waders back on..

The Completion

So.. shovels down and a brisk walk back to the Clubhouse (still not fully fitted, but functional with the tea urn and a few barrels of "lost yerballs"). Hopefully this showed how I turned the bulkheads around this time, using the other face, in contrast to the tees. Now I've no idea if they will specifically make it into the CF, but it does illustrate how much of a requirement I think they are.

Again, it's not a perfect finish... a few things could do with tweaking. However, I started this hole and finished it within a couple of hours. Let's not forget we're using the beta CF... so it has quirks and corners where you often get a scratch or cut. With hope.. once we see the final article, this type of creation could be done in under an hour..

Sorry for the long read again..

There's some good volume in the grass there. I like.
