I sure hope the ball physics are revisited on the wedges soon because since latest updates it sure doesn't react like IRL, they are rolling out way to much to where before they acted correctly with spin and check/bite to get close to pin, i agree that the short and long irons should react as so but not he wedges.

Because show me where there isn't one pro or single handicap golfer that doesn't spin and check there wedges hell this is even why they try to set them selves up to those yardages.  Now if one tries to use 60/93 yard and the 64/74 yard you can't do it from 75% to 100% meaning spin that bites not the back up spin we get now when we swing above 100% which is okay but the so called more power now instead of over swing which is still that because of the penalty that is still there specifically on motion swing i think take away the 100% to the 125% end of the meter and do away with the penalty for doing so and the swing will play more real IMO.

Yep agreed I feel you should not have to go past a 100% to get spin

Been thinking this for a long time. Wedges hit with partial strength rarely spin. They hit, bounce and roll. IRL a wedge shot, even a partial wedge shot, comes down almost vertically, hits the green, leaves its mark, bounces and has little roll. Sometimes a wedge will hop backwards a few feet depending on the slope. In PG, wedges seem to come in with too much of a forward vector so after the ball hits it jumps forward, might spin a little, but then rolls out. At least these have been my observations on partial wedge shots. I carry a PW, W52 and W56, because these are the lofts I plan in real life. But unlike real life, if I need to hit any of these with less than full power, the ball will always hit and roll. Again, these are just my observations and comparisons.

I was wondering if the latest patch went to far in the 1st bounce on all shots.  dont get me wrong happy to see the zip back 30 yards shot fixed... i have been able to stop pitch shot realatively quickly on greens though using loft and hitting the snap, Its just not that easy to get the perfect snap

Developer's lack of response I guess leads me to believe they are happy with the physics which IMO is a shame but I am not surprised since I am not one of the powers to be vocies of this game...☺

HeNs. We don't always respond but we always listen. We are not looking at the physics right now as we are focused on other things. But I know for sure we will be looking at it again.
