I just got a Logitech F310 Gamepad and I cannot figure how to set it up to use with PG.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it has custom functions I cannot help you with that but if you fire up PerfectGolf and go to settings/controls and choose gamepad.

The graphics in the gamepad section just explain what the buttons do they don't choose that as a control method which is a little confusing.

When do you think the fully functional gamepad motion swing controls (with real time swing) will be ready?

I see the option for mouse and keyboard, but I am unable to change this setting.

You won't be able to change to gamepad unless your computer recognizes you have a gamepad plugged in. Go to you your control panael and make sure you have your gamepad activated - it might need drivers etc

Do you have a switch on it somewhere to change mode? - if it's still not working, flip the switch and that should put it into xbox 360 controller mode.

I just updated to Windows 10 and the Gamepad is now working. Unfortunately I discover that Motion Swing does not seem to be implemented yet, at least it is not working for me. Thanks Mike for your feedback.

Dick,

Does the following not get you the controller swing working when you have it plugged in?

There are 2 menu pages in the SETTINGS menu you need to check.

On the CONTROLS page, change the swing type to Controller/Gamepad.

On the GAME page, under the INPUT sub menu, change the device to Controller/Gamepad.

Once done, you should now be able to play PG with your XBOX controller (or your chosen gamepad/controller) playing either 3 Click, or using the hybrid analogue stick control some folks are using.

Hi Daz,

I tried that, but it still defaults to click mode. There are three options: Swing Meter, Controller and Simulator. All but Simulator default to click.

I've just connected my wired X360 controller and gone to SETTINGS. Changed the Controls setting from Mouse & Keyboard to Gamepad Only. Game then asks me to press the 'A' button on my gamepad to enable it. I did this, then gamepad activates and I can navigate around the menus with the controller as mouse has been deactivated in game.

Are you prompted to confirm your controller?

Yes, navigation is not the problem it is just when playing a round the default control is only click no matter which input method is chosen.
