Yes... but only if exported into a 3D program and done that way, and then re-imported etc. You could therefore use the same tree several times on your course..

No need for the exporting/importing and 3D program. Just duplicate the tree in the Asset Browser (Ctrl-D), drag the copy onto your terrain, rotate and choose "Apply changes to prefab".

I can import buildings and bridges into blender then to unity but when I try with trees I get problems with colours like green trunk with white or grey funny shape leaves or this X shape cardboard looking thing (billboard?). Am I missing something or does it have something to do with the file downloaded. I have all these great eucalyptus trees for Aussie courses but cant get them into unty. They are 3ds files, any thoughts?
