If you were interested, you would take some time to read the forums and find your question has already been answered in several other threads.

No release date or price has yet been confirmed.

However, welcome to the forum! We all want to see the release of this game and HB Studio's: The Golf Club .

Whichever plays best for each individual on their computer in terms of swing options and real golf simulations will be very interesting to hear about for people in both forums.

There is no need to apoligize for Dazmaniac. From what I've seen he is neither rude nor cynical. If anything he adds more positive input to both this site and to linkscorner than almost anyone I've seen. That said, welcome to the site gman5.

Release dates are a double edged sword.  We are working as hard as we can to get the game completed.  We have a stable game that works in a simulator.  We recently completed our MOCAP sessions and we are almost complete with our backend database systems.  When it is done it will be released.

Sorry I cant be more specific and we thank you for your interest in the game.

Be assured Andrew, we're just as sorry you can't be more specific, too. ;)

Thanks for the tidbits.

Not sure if you could away with a reply like the one below, AJ, but perhaps worth a try ....

"Should be released in the next week ....

And if the download link doesn't work, re-read this reply!"

Well summer is on it's way (hopefully) and I will continue to check on here most days in the hope of an update but do you know what?  That fence down the side of my garden needs painting, the grass in the back garden could do with a cut and even more so my golf swing needs to sort itself out and none of these will happen if I am sat here pressing F5 on my computer every thirty seconds to see if Perfect Golf has suddenly been released.  One day I will get a very pleasant surprise when i do check on here but it will arrive when it is ready.  Anyone who develops software will appreciate how things always take longer than originally hoped.

I'm off down the pub..... :D

It's happening but I can't tell you when at the moment. We have expanded our development team and have just completed the motion capture for the golfer character which is currently being built and animated. We have lots of existing course content and our 'game' is currently fully functional in a simulator version. CourseForge is almost ready for the second round of Beta testing with a larger test team and we have been using feedback from the first beta test to improve it and add new features which have been requested.

There are still several things we need to do before any kind of PerfectGolf release though and we are ticking things off the list as we go, but progress has been good.

There is little point in being more specific about an early access release date because right now it would just be a guess.

Mike, this may have already been answered and if so I apologize for the question, but is PG and the CF going to be released when the time comes through Steam or some other avenue?

Mike:  Are you considering an evolutionary product release (like TGC) or will you only release PG in a fully featured state?

IF they are just working on motion capture I say this game is at year away. i wish they'd release the course architect tool though.

Hi,

Please excuse my ignorance. Will Course Forge be released as a unity package available for public purchase? And if so has a date been set yet?

No dates set as yet for retail release of Perfect Golf.

Early Access build currently going through Unity 4 > Unity 5 upgrade.

I can tell you that Course Forge will be available with retail version of game, is a Unity Asset package that runs within Unity 3D and will be free.

;)
