You need to copy the new course into the courses folder of Perfect Golf.

Bob,

What process have you followed for getting the new courses in game? It's not a great deal different to what we did with Links courses from Links Corner.

Here's my method (for Windows 7)

Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf and you will see all the game folders. Right click on the Courses folder

From the menu select Send To and then Desktop (create shortcut)

This puts a copy of the Courses folder on your desktop and makes for easy adding of downloaded courses

Go to OGT site and download your course of choice and save to preferred location (again I use Desktop for ease of use)

Once file downloaded, it will be more than likely in a ZIP or RAR so you need to extract the course file.

Double click on the ZIP or RAR file you downloaded to open it and you should see a folder inside

Extract this folder to your Desktop

Once extracted, drag the course folder in to the Courses folder shortcut you put on your Desktop.

The course folder has now been added and next time you fire up PG, the course should appear in the carousel for selection.

well daz I did all the proper steps I got PG courses by going through steam when courses popped up I would drop the course I loaded from OGT in to the PG course list --but it neva showed up in the game when I would click on the courses --just the old ones where there

I neva had a prob loading courses into links bit it's a no go for me in PG :(

I might add I started trying at 9:30 this morning till 30 mins ago --something stoping them from going in

Are you unzipping them before putting them into the courses folder?

When you double click on the zip file you get a dialogue box which shows the course folder but you have to extract that folder before you move it to the courses folder. I extract the course folder to the same location as the zip file.

Windows 7 won't let you drag the course file out of the dialogue box. You have to use the extract option.

info like this needs to be a sticky ???

Little known fact when King Arthur was trying to make a golf course and he ran into some conflict. King Arthur: There's a peace only to be found on the other side of war. If that war should come I will fight it!    Other important fact. Read the Book of John in the Holy Bible.
