I have noticed that there have been more and more Spammers messages on the threads the past few days.

I have been reporting them to the moderators but seem to have a problem.

Ever since I have been opening the Spam threads to send the message I have been getting more and more spam messages to my home email address.  I have 54 accumulated over night when I signed on this morning.

I am not sure that they can somehow see my Profile when I log on to their posts to get my email address but I am not going to log on and view them any more.

IMHO, the Admin need to somehow put a spammer blocker on this Site.

Jerry

Hello Jerry. I reported the first Spam about Cialis. I just clicked the Report Button and typed  SPAM then sent it.  I've not received any increase in spam since doing that several days ago.

The guys here should be able to put up a little security via IPB. It's really easy.

That's the same way I responded and I probably did 10 of them. Every one since the 1st one appeared.

I have stopped this morning.

The spammers are more frequent posters on the forums than the guys from PP, lol.

Spam is no fun. There are usually ways to stop spam, like admin permission or permission questions on registering. This stops 99% of spam as most are bots. Using permission questions at my german golfers forum since 4 weeks and since then I only had 3 bad registrations. The spam bot registrations just go to walhalla :D

Oh yeah and you shouldn't allow guests to post here. If some1 is really interested in PP or PG he/she will register here ;)

Yep. It's right in the settings menu inside of IBP. All they have to do is set up a custom question or CAPTCHA question. Would prevent the majority of spam. Thank goodness they're all feeding straight into the off-topic section. Haha.

This guy "Guest_PummizeRice_*" is also a spammer.

Admin can delete this post : http://www.perfectpa...c-un-ingénieur/

The text is in french but doesn't mean anything. It's just a series of pornographic words totally stupid.

I don`t understand why people write spam. Whats the sence of this. I don`t think that these days anyone would fall for standard spam tricks anymore

People do that just to be annoying. If a naive person stumbles across that spam (yes they still exist in big numbers) they might just click it in a forum or their email. One would think after all these years, eh?
