I don't think it would be unreasonable for a once a week update even if it may not seem like much new has happened from PP point of view, to us on the outside looking in it would still give us the comfort that PP is keeping us in the loop.

My only advise to PP would avoid giving dates or time frames unless its absolutely certain otherwise any information, updates, progress, can only help to keep us  informed and hopeful.

Try again as it didn't post of what I typed so will keep this short: Updates on the simulator would be good (I know you had some info come out on that) as that probably will be close to the pc version I would think. And put more videos on your PP youtube channel     https://www.youtube....ectparallel.

Everyone should just go play other golf games and remember that PP for PC is not going to happen anytime soon.

It is not going to be a money maker anyway, that was proven by the lack of interest in Kickstarter.

Hmmm.. there are ways of marketing this that can be profitable, so be wary of saying it was proven by kickstarter. Personally, I never found KS in time to pledge... so many others also likely didn't. All that proved, was in the window of time it was open, not enough were made to be aware of its existence.

If this released for the PC and other versions, and the window of time was alot bigger, then those factors are increased and who knows how this can go with periodic updates too.

I highly doubt PG was ever planned to be a huge money maker in itself. It's the whole suite which is the money maker. I see huge success such with course architects, I see huge success with simulators. Broadcast I have no idea but I can only assume so as well.

Despite that, I get the feeling that Mike et. al. aren't foremost chasing the buck anyway, rather living the dream of doing a passion for a living.

Speculation.  That is what we are all doing to kill time. Pure speculation. IMHO PC golf games are just not interesting to the younger generations.  Everyone over 55 loves to play PC golf because it gives us a chance to get and take a pee when we need to.  LOL

TeeBone, there's no need to mind the young players too much - any more. The first generation of computer gamers is quite old by now, about my age, which is... not young at all, let's say. Sorry, gotta pee, be right back... Aaah, better. Anyway: Female gamers and middle-aged and older gamers are a growing market. They are a lot pickier than the young'uns are, but tend to be more loyal once they commit.

I agree with shimonko. This one here strikes me to be as much a labor of love than it is cold and ruthless game studio business. Could be both, isn't exclusively one of these two extremes - presumably the simulator business, should it take off, will be the real cash cow. And for the PC there are sizeable markets lying dormant beyond the youngster bracket (chased after by TGC, btw, and just watch the uproar in their Forums...) Did I say dormant? I need a nap now.
