Probably not, but you did get the message.

P.S. at my age, "dude" is an insult, Strike 2

The only message I ever get from you is that you are not on the level; and frankly, I can't even see you... down there in the muck.

All you do is spew foul language, and I haven't heard you actually say a thing, nor would it even matter because you weren't invited to the discussion in the first place.

With his posts of the last few days literally attacking everyone and looking for anything to fight about, it might be time for another time out for tlvx.  His posts are now bordering on ridiculousness.

Richard I blocked him earlier tonight.  Maybe you should block him too.  You have always been courteous and polite in your posts and do not need nor deserve this aggravation.

Oh look... it's that pot calling the kettle black again.

Maybe you should look at the difference between your post history, and mine.

I actually report bugs, posit new ideas, and can identify pluses and minuses in several areas.

You however, just blanketly claim to speak for the majority, claim to have the definition of *fun* -for everyone- all wrapped up inside a little box; and then preposterously have vehemently attacked anyone else's definition of fun... all because you simply cannot come to grips with playing the game on level terms, on one of the five difficulty levels provided.

Why are you such an 'ass'???

Maybe your perception is skewed, because you fail to comport yourself in an appropriate way within the forum environment.

Talking a lot of nonsense and yet haven't actually contributed anything other than venom in this topic.

All you are is huff and puff... nothing more. Just constantly running hot. -- Why don't you go and breathe some of those hot flames at someone that is actually contributing to your personal problems... instead of mindlessly showing up a full Ten pages into a forum discussion, just to vent some of your own sensitivities on random strangers.

Apparently, nobody even noticed nor cared that you could not keep it together, despite the fact that no one was even talking to you.

Instead of working yourself into a tizzy - for literally no reason at all - perhaps you should see someone to talk about your personal problems.

Forget about the game. You can't even get through a forum discussion without having a literal conniption.

But, don't come in here with your name calling, huffing and puffing... thinking that you are going to pull the wool over anyone's eyes when it comes to a discussion on proper grammar. -- Pick a debate that you would actually have a chance of winning... like, how to best impersonate a caveman within a discussion forum.

Seriously guys knock it off with the personal attacks and there is more then just one guilty party on this boat. Why does it always come down to the point of attacking some one? This was a pretty civil conversation up to a point and then it went into the sewer with nothing being on topic.

Sadly this happens far too often that a thread goes dead with constructive posts and then it lingers on and it turns into a mud slinging  contest. I would say 99 % of the time for whatever reasons it turns to personal attacks and stooping to the lowest forum of argument, insults.

I was really hoping this thread would have been locked several times before it got to this but sadly it was not and now here we are wallowing in the muck. Honestly it is just plain sad in my opinion.

While it may make for a good soap it does nothing positive for the game or the forum. Let's put it in this light. A new member comes here for the first time  and happens to be interested in a subject, they start reading and it seems to be a pretty good thread with lots of constructive comments being posted. They keep reading and it seems like the subject has been exhausted, then out of the blue BAM someone takes a shot at someone. Next thing you know the thread is nothing about the original topic (which was about swings at one point) and instead it is just personal attacks on each other. What the heck is this all about the member thinks to themselves, oh well perhaps it is just a one time thing. Then they pick another topic and again it starts off well but once again near the end the same thing happens. An insult here, an insult there and boom we are off to the races once more. So  they pick another thread and the same thing, and another, and yet another all with the same results. Does this really reflect well on the community or the forums? I can't see where it would. I mean what positive out come occurs when a thread is full of people insulting one another? What impression are they going to leave here with and what are they going to tell their friends? Is this an image that PP wants to be out  there? I can't help think it's not.

Look I get it that not everyone is going to get along and yes sometimes things can get a bit heated. That is still no excuse for posting personal insults as a way of "trying to make a point" When I see someone doing this instead of making me think they are right I find it weakens their stance. It reminds of two kids at a playground arguing about who's dad is tougher.

I know this post I'm making is way off the original topic and to the original OP I do apologize. Perhaps this will be the final nail that will get the topic closed.

I will end by saying while we all may not see eye to eye personally or on a subject let's be mature enough to not resorting to insulting one another. It reflects poorly not only on yourself  but the community as a whole. Only my opinion of course but I hope the majority of the community feels the same  way.

Here's the thing...some somebody(tl...) has enlightened me on a specific thing. he raised a good question, MJ gave him a good answer and backed it up with a online ball flight program they use to calc flight trajectories in-game. I didn't believe it at first, but i'm not a tech head and my clubs aren't fitted with the new space technology like the current tour pros. My clubs are 10 yrs old, but still very good and paid a ransom for them back then, especially the R7 TP 8.5 with weight kit.

I'll post the thread here again, Backspin: http://www.perfectpa...4990-backspin/

Everybody can learn from it and it will really improve your game in PG, possibly even your real game if you take the time to get fitted properly.

I kept on having trouble losing too much distance out of the rough with some of the short irons 7 & 8 irons and especially the long irons 3,4 and 5 iron. The above FIXED IT! It's all about getting the right trajectory. it's helped my game in PG from the rough or fairway.

Look, Neanderthals co-existed with Homo sapiens for a while. Same deal.

What's with the Mexican Stand-Off at Bandon RTS over at OGT?

If you happen to stop by OGT, look how they're listing the control methods on the tournament leader boards now. Very, very, very interesting. Richard, you may have to burn that picture and make more for some others. B)
