I'm just asking as I am not sure if this is normal. SHOULD perfect golf exe be using 1 gig of ram just being opened and not actually playing a game? When playing this number goes 2 or three gb  up as I understand it should when a game is being loaded and played. just curious as to why it's so high just sitting there...

That's what I get too. Booted chop hill up and it was sitting just over 4gb. Plays fine now on 64 bit. If it's normal or not I don't know but your figures are on a par with mine.

8GB RAM

Nvidia GTX 670

240GB SAMSUNG EVO SSD

It's between 1 -2 for me at start but when playing it will go over 6+ gb with all the courses loaded with Windows using about 2 I guess.so about 4 total for perfect golf .
