I have suffered with the jerky meter on 3 click for nearly a month now but I have finally found a solution that has worked for me, hopefuly will help others too. Bearing in mind that my PC is 7 years old I don't expect ground breaking results from any game nowadays but this has helped with the meter, so here goes.
I read another thread where Crusher was helping out on this topic about windows updates, so I thought I would check if any were ready to install , sure enough there were. I completed the windows updates and checked for any further updates until all were installed. Restarted my pc and launched the game and set Vsync to Every Frame (try this it has worked for me) with pause render also on.
I couldn't believe that my meter stutter had gone and also gained about 10 fps and I run on ultra high graphics and was able to pump the settings quite high.
Thought I would mention this because for atleast at this moment I am able to really enjoy this great game on my aging pc, I will report back if things go adrift again but for the last few days this fix has been flawless for me.
Really hope this works for others that are struggling with the meter stutter. If nothing else its worth a shot.
