I struggle with moving the ball using RTSH. I can usually manage OK right-to-left, but left-to-right is a whole other beast for me. I recall RTSM being a bit easier to control for me.

Is there any way to slow down the meter in the three click or pointer swing with the mouse as it is really fast.

I wouldn't think so milwsteve1.
At what level are you playing? At beginner level the forgiving 'snap' would render the need for a slowed-down meter unnecessary.
You could also get some Metadine.
(Forgive me. This question brought to mind an episode of "The Man and the Challenge" from the early 60s. It's amazing what your memory can recall from a glimpse of a TV show as a 7 year old. I remembered the challenge in the lab as a dart board which he threw darts at. My memory is fallible obviously. The lab assistant was impressed, I noticed. Something I didn't notice as a 7 year old. The internet is amazing.)

Most everyone says it's too slow. It's way slower than Links2k3 was, that's for sure.
And no. There's no way to slow it down, in game.

Putting is broken in this game.
I used Ted Ball's technique where he mentions you will have the strength of a fifteen foot putt if you move the backswing to inbetween the feet.
What is it for short putts?
I move the putter the same distance and the ball moves a smidgen ,driving me crazy.
Looks like the old 3 point click method is the only way to really play thisgame properly on the computer without some third party software and hardware used for real clubs.
The gamepad and mouse swing is hit and miss.
Gamepad is terrible for driving, mouse is terrible for putting.
