Probably one for MJ to answer.
Just wondering if a course is designed/recreated with a practice area, if the player selects the practice option from a game menu, they have the option of playing holes on the course or just going to the practice area to hit balls?
IIRC, this was included in Links: The Challenge of Golf back in the early 90's, which came with Torrey Pines South. If you opted to practice, the game actually put you on the practice area so you could just hit some balls.
In Links 2003 now, you can select Practice on a real course mode but it lets you practice playing the course and takes yo to the tee. You can choose to practice at the stock Driving Range that comes with the game. To go to the actual practice range in a design/recreation you would have to manually move the ball to the appropriate area on the course map. I just think it would be neat for the game to have an option to go to the practice area and the game take you there, or have an option to actually play a practice round. Be nice to practice at different locations instead of on a stock practice area like Links 2003 has now.
Just with some folks wanting as much realism putting in Perfect Golf, I thought this might be a workable option.
