That was the problem. I downloaded the correct version and I'm having no issues now. Go to the full post

I followed the tutorials to a tee and when I pressed compile splines it did this. How do I fix this . How do you delete shapes?

I'm just learning CF, too. Did you select the outer (purple) shape first?

I think I just figured it out. I had installed Unity 5.4 and I noticed that Mike said that it only supports 5.2.3. I'm downloading 5.2.3 right now.

Think you may want to change the OP title  "what is this crap" is not conducive to getting the help out there, and there is plenty of help out there, be prepared for further frustrations from time to time...and just enjoy it,  good luck!

Should we download Unity 5.2.3 f1, which is the build Mike uses in the tutorials or the very latest?

The reason I am asking is because when I use the very latest build I cannot get my courses to load into perfect golf.

Thanks. That's great. Might I suggest a pinned topic on the steam forum explaining that only "Unity 5.2.3 f1" is supported.
