Yeah looks like you're drawing your shapes too sharply and too close together, check out the video tutorial section and the video called 'common mistakes'

It's causing other textures going over the fairway.

watch the mike jones course forge videos it explains how to fix this problem.i think its just a smooth and raise slightly.

yeah looks like sharp edges, if you go into wireframe you will see a bunch of thick mesh at the problem area, round of your splines to avoid what mike said (sharp edges) should be good after a refresh.
