Just what I was thinking. It seems that we will have to wait for Course Forge. Will the Course Forge software be an additional cost, once Perfect Golf is purchased???

Jimbo,

No, I don't believe it will be. Perfect Golf, Course Forge and Terrain Forge should all be part of the package and included in the purchase price.

;)

I hope that won't be a problem or bigger cost for those who may not want to have anything to do with building courses? Just saying.. :o

I do feel it would be mistake not to have CF and TF as part of the package. Communities are historically tight-asses, they will not pay even $10 to 'have a go' at designing a course.  I'm more thinking there will be a range of licensing options, depending on the level of commercial use of the courses created. I wouldn't do 'lite' versions - I think it's important community courses show the product in the best light.  Paid vegetation and texture packs could work.

I'm kind of the fence about this as some don't care to even have a look at building courses and just want the game to play. Others like myself would almost actually prefer the course building tools and the game is more of a secondary thing. I realize its not much good to have the course tools without the game to test and try it out and of course I would buy both if it is cost fisable that is.

Perhaps a two tier option should be made available. One being the game only and the other having both the course building tools and the game. Again costs would be a factor and the full meal deal would have to be  a reasonable price to intice people to get both.

No I don't want a "lite" version of CF and another with all the bells and whistes. I would think if you went with the package you want all the

tools available.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

Doesn't make business sense to only have one product guys... I know nothing but that golden rule.

It is planned to be released for free along with the full version for the reasons mentioned previously.

'CourseForge will not be released as part of early access but is planned to be released when the full version of the game is available. The reason for this is simple, we are prioritising the game right now and as a small team we would be unable to support CF with tutorials, videos etc as we might wish and also we need to make sure that courses created with CF will work with whatever version of the game people are playing which is difficult when the game code is changing every week which it will be after early access as we continue to develop the game until the release 'propper' It'll be worth waiting for though I'm sure!'
