Download Unity 5.2.3 error messages

Best Answer Mike Jones , 04 November 2016 - 09:21 PM

Looks like you have not just installed the base unity package but some extensions and additions for it too. It should still work but let us know if it doesn't.

Try installing unity through the actual download for your system OS rather than via the installer package.

After d/l Unity 5.2.3 from the link in the tutorials section and installing, when I come to run Unity I get an error message stating some aspects could not be installed. See screen shot attached.

I unistalled Unity together with the D/l file. Re-downloaded and still get the same error. Any clues please?

Can't see attachment, states don't have permission to view it.

Are you able to upload to a free hosting site like Imgur, Tinypic etc and then embed in your post?

Mike,

When I come to install again using my OS, it asks for the components to install. Do I untick "MonoDevelop" as I left it ticked last time?

Thanks Rob, I will give a try with "MonoDevelop" unticked. Hopefully, the error messages will disappear.

I was unsure if I should untick that but I did. Glad to know it was the correct action to take.
