Can you zoom in and out at least?  Or have you lost all movement?

Try pushing the play button at the top of your screen.  Wait a little bit to make sure it has started playing (sometimes this can take a while)

After you are sure it has started playing, hit play again (to stop it) and go back to your scene window.  This can help reset your movement.

No idea what causes it but I've had to do this several times in the past.

Ohh Unity and Coure Forge, you fickle beasts...it happens to me occasionally. I noticed that when I save often it seems to happen less. Maybe a Unity buffer issue? I have no idea. Close, save and restart seems to work best. Remember to breathe and chuckle a bit when this occurs. It helps me relieve the stress.

I usually just hit the play button and then once it's in play mode I disable play mode and the unity navigation returns to normal. This Unity bug has been around forever!

Can someone please help me. It was working fine as should then got almost done with hole and lost ability to move again. Has happened 3 or 4 times ill never get anywhere having to start over all the time.  Its where the screen can be dragged with left button an now rt button acts the same only drags wont spin free like it should.  When i hit play button it moves properly spinning an wsad etc. but wont do that if not in play.

My experience is in that case .... just close Unity and reload/reopen the project ... had this many times when i was clicking and wasd - ing to much while flying around ... after reloading the project it should give you the ability back to move like before   ;)

Sometimes when I'm moving around using the mouse Unity will seem to slow down, where the usual movement of the mouse only moves a fraction of what it was doing....if that occurs I usually vigorously zoom in using my middle mouse wheel. The textures usually fracture, once that has occurred it usually speeds up and I can move around as normal.....that and use the right click + WSAD to move around help me out.

Might be worth trying.

Maybe you've gone into Orthographic/Isometric view?

Yes a screenshot would help.

Sounds like you're continually dropping into 2d mode by mistake. Hit the 2d button which is situated at the top of the scene window to get back to normal 3d view when this occurs.

I think all the potential fixes have been covered now so unless you post a video showing your specific problem I doubt if anyone will be able to help you further.

When you created your new project, did you inadvertently highlight the 2D option?

It sounds like your project is continually reverting to 2D mode.
