Can you send me the information on using Lidar data?  I didn't even think to look for Lidar data but Ohio has 1 foot LIdar data publicly available.  I am working on Firestone South which is in Summit County in Ohio but I had to estimate all of the subtle contours since the original height maps were 10M data.  Since I am almost finished with the course, I would have to see if there is a method to replace the old height map with a new one and somehow preserve all of my CF work.

Thanks.

Not sure about replacing the old height map part though, Might have to make a post in the forum.

Excuse my babbling in these videos.  :)

Just a small update, took a few weeks off because I got burnt out on designing so much but started working on it again last night. Deleted all my trees because the scale just seemed to be so big in game but in reality they are pretty tall so I have started to replant again, got a backup but I think I am just going to replant again instead of using that one. I am a bit anal when it comes to getting things to look right but hopefully if I don't get burnt out again I could have this out by this month. I usually like to work on it a 2-3 hours a night.

If you're using speedtree you can just globally alter the size of any given tree type in the inspector window/scale
