Thanks for the video; I may have missed this in other threads but I notice no wind indicator. Will this be added before early access?

I'll say it once more: can't wait to get this!

There are 3 settings for the 'ball tracer' in the game.

1.  The full tracer, which you've seen in the videos. I'll assume it was used just for visibility of the ball flight path.

2. A comet tracer, which is a very shot tracer behind the ball.

3. Disabled, which is no tracer. This is my preference and the one that I've been using throughout testing.

Regarding video stuttering, I think it's more a function of the 'capture', rather than 'in game' reality. This is something the developers are still working on. It's a work-in-process (WIP)

Thanks for the report.

Might mention a suggestion to the devs for a "hybrid tracer" that shows on drives and approaches but is off for short game and putting.  It's always seemed like a good idea for the best of both worlds.

Ken, Wind functionality is being worked on, but you are correct not currently in the test version from the videos were created. I can't speak as when it will appear, but like you, hope that it's available for early access.

I agree, TurbineSeaplane, and had mentioned this in the private forums:

"Having the tracer & comet wider than the ball as it is now makes the ball look huge and puts out the sense of scale, especially during a putt. I wouldn't even allow the tracer on putting and chipping as it's a bit like a training mode for your next putt. Plus the ball is moving too slowly for any sort of comet, burning up the atmosphere, effect."

Mike's response was:

"Another thing we can try is having a comet tail on the ball appear in a similar way ie only after the ball moves far enough from a camera will it start to show up and will conversely disappear when the ball approaches a cam."

How does the ball flight look without the follow camera and with no tracer/comet?

I would be interested in seeing this too. I've never really liked the tracer/comet or follow cam on any golf game.

What in game graphic settings did you use in this playthrough K11?

I used medium-ish settings, yesrushdt. I wanted to save a bit of processing power for the video capture running alongside it. I have a new 16GB Mac and can crank up everything to max, but it strikes me as unnecessary to ask the game to draw a tree some 450 meters away in full 3D instead of just using a billboard.

As long as the 'wind' and weather physics are fairly accurate - I'd rather there not be a 'wind indicator', instead use your own judgment by watching the flag, trees, bushes and water (if in view).

Or have a 'grass toss' animation you can use... ;-)

Sounds like the mouse swing mechanics of perfect parallel is another item that is going to revolutionize the pc golf game franchise and finally those other golf games with mouse swing will rightfully be put to shame. There various "difficulty" settings allowed one to either choose bulls eye accuracy or the ball always going way left or way right.

Having a meticulous perfect parrallel mouse swing seems to allow the player to have a genuine concern for each shot adding finally true realism to the golf game on pc and thankfully not having a nightmarish horror that the ball may even to appear to have been struck with ones foot.

Little known fact when King Arthur was trying to make a golf course and he ran into some conflict. King Arthur: There's a peace only to be found on the other side of war. If that war should come I will fight it!    Other important fact. Read the Book of John in the Holy Bible.
