I see all the references to the G502, but it appears to be a "wired" mouse. Any recommendations for a wireless mouse? I have been using a Logitech M310 wireless mouse for several years, with no apparent problems.

Pretty much all gaming mice are wired as wireless mice can get laggy for gaming purposes.

I have never been a fan of a wireless mouse, they always seem to give me problems sooner or later. I use a Razer Orochi myself you can use it wired or wireless, I always use wired.

I have my enhanced pointer precision - box unchecked = off (windows setting) for my Logitech G300 . I hope this is not considered cheating too. I'm back to 3 click so not sure this even matters.

I use the Logitech G302 for comfort and gaming. I never used any of the "gaming" features of all the Logitech (wired) I have used over the years, simply not installing the software/profiles/ etc.
But I read it supports macros profiles and even has analyzer and setups stored within' the mouse itself. I never cheat and just thought I'd mention it since people have raised these concerns. I use 3 click and didn't really read ALL the things this older little reliable mouse does/offers.
Maybe someone "more in the know" (Armand? Devs?) could discern if in fact it could be used to game the sim.
Lastly another program got me thinkin' was Voice Attack for gaming- Sorry to early to hunt the links.
Just thought I'd ask since this thread is another about cheating-
I love this sim-I will truly be playing it until I die.

Nothing is considered cheating by us at least. Play the game however you like but if you trigger the forgiving controller message (currently only working correctly in solo mode) you will know you're playing the game easier than intended.
Ok! That clears this up. My only solo rounds of late have been a few tournaments rounds. No forgiving controller message received. Thanks Mike!

Not played a solo round for a couple of weeks now - just played tourney rounds! Will have to play a round in solo mode just to be sure! I gather that playing tourney rounds will not trigger the message or have I read your post wrong?

Mailman - The forgiving controller message only works correctly in solo rounds. So if your solo rounds do not trigger the forgiving controller message you are fine.

Well turning off enhanced pointer precision makes the game a lot more forgiving. Now pro mode is too easy. I moved to tour pro. Which is challenging again. Guess ill stick there. Im not great at the game. I just want the challenge off the tee. Tour pro with enhanced precisio. Pointer unchecked works for me. To try and make par on each hole.
Enhanced pointer precision is just mouse acceleration. It makes the game harder because it messes up attempts at smooth tempo. Turning it off (if it is present) is the first thing you ought to do for RTS-M. So no, you're not making the game easier than it should be.

Oh and I didn't mean to refer to enhanced precision pointer as a cheat before it just makes such a huge difference. I'm sure I'll like playing even more now with it off.
