In my Steam Settings, I have the In-game FPS counter enabled, High contrast color enabled and Bottom-left enabled.  I have yet to see any FPS ratings.  I have tried all four locations for the counter, but nothing shows up.  I have obviously missed something, however, I know not what.  I have re-booted and have all three Steam overlay options enabled.  Still no visible FPS in Windowed or in Full Screen modes.

If I remember correctly, it is in Settings > In-Game.  There should be a check box to enable it.

Hi Tresclub, I notice that my FPS also disappeared recently. I was wondering what happened too.

RobV is corrrect.  It's in Steam Settings> In Game you will see a drop down box for FPS.

Is there a way to make the counter larger?I went back to using Fraps because it was hard for these old eyes to read.

Make sure that you are using a 16:9 aspect ratio when playing the game.  If you are using another aspect ratio the fps counter may be off the edge of the screen.

Here are some common 16:9 resolution settings:

852 x 480

1280 x 720

1365 x 768

1600 x 900

1920 x 1080

2560 x 1440

Intel i5-4570 cpu @ 3.2 GHz, ASUS Z74-K mb, ASUS GeForce GTX 960 gpu, 16 GB ram, 2 x SSD drives, Windows 10 64 bit

I suggest using the "high contrast" color too.

I don't care for the overlay in steam, so I use the fps counter they have in the game. It has good sized text and is easy to see, it would be better if you didn't have to press F8 to see it, but other then that it does the job.

hmmm, Loaded the game up just now, and I have no idea what I did, but there is the FPS counter, down the the Bottom-left corner in high contrast color.  And I have my Steam In-game settings set up exactly like Crusher's.

Warren,

Crusher has the Steam overlay enabled. Are you sure you had it enabled initially?

You asked in another thread about turning off achievement notifications IIRC, and were advised to turn off the overlay to stop this, which is why the FPS counter probably wasn't showing.

Daz,  I have no idea if I originally had it enabled.  That was more than 5 min ago.  :)  But it's working now.
