This is really starting to annoy me, I just went back to edit another course I was designing, I changed the name to reflect the new course name. Everything looked fine, it even opened, and I was expecting the Perfect Parallel menu to vanish again. Anyway, to cut a long story short, the option to switch course forge on is there, but when I click on it nothing happens, restarted a few times, still the same issue, basically, it means I can no longer edit the course I was working on. Has anyone come across this problem before, if so how did you resolve it? If I don't get this fixed I will have to start all over again.

When you say you changed the name, how exactly did you do that?

Maybe check your build settings to get the Perfect Parallel menu back at least. Unity crashed on me once and that seemed to fix it. Under "File"->"Build Settings". The platform should be "PC, Mac & Linux Standalone". Fingers crossed....that's the only issue I had with my first full project.

Thanks that worked! Phew, and I thought I had to restart again, you have no idea how many hours I've spent on this course. Many thanks once again...

Sweet....I found the answer deep down in this forum (can remember who originally found the issue/fix) and this is the second time my answer has fixed the issue for someone (my post above was a direct cut and paste from a previous topic)...perhaps we need to pin this as it seems to happen occasionally to people. I know it's not a CF issue, more of a Unity thing but if the Perfect Parallel menu functionality isn't working, check the 'Build Settings'

Cheers,

Neil

Being new to Unity, it's taken a while to get used to it, I've been using the Crysis editor for a while, so changing to Unity means learning a new set of rules. Yes I think this should be tagged about this quirk of Unity.
