hi there

I currently have a few games in steam and i play them in offline mode so i dont have to be connected to the internet all the time and just want to play on my own or against the game opponent

So my question is will we be able to play PG in offline Mode  and all the courses that come with it as well once we have downloaded and installed PG

Also can you tell me the total file size of PG  as  want to make sure i have enough room on my hard drive, i have a few hard drives installed but there different sizes, so just need to check first .

I dont want to install the game on my c.\ drive as want to keep as much room as possible as its a little low on free space, and want to install it on one of my backup drives.

Thanks pp team

PG can be played offline, however Steam will need to go online every few weeks to verify your license.

PG is about 110MB and each course around the 100MB mark. The steam client is about 400MB. Steam allows you to install games on drives other than C:

Good Morning. I am sorry to butt in and maybe a dumb question but I was wondering if all courses are automatically downloaded with the purchase of the game or will they be a purchased per course item? If all are downloaded then what will the total size be? By shimonko's explanation this game is going to take up a huge amount of hard drive space?

All the courses will be downloaded to your hard drive, together with game app. Additional courses will be added as updates through Steam - whether free or for a fee I do not know.

A course file is somewhere between 100 and 250MB in size, depending on the degree of finishing. Our current 5 courses in testing are around 700 MB in size. I'm sure that there will be a course manager feature at some time in the future, allowing you to download only the courses you want to keep to play on.

Wonder if you (or I) have the latest courses K11 - the 6 I have (excluding the range) total 633MB.

In these times that is not a 'huge' download for a game. One must move with the times.

Hmmmmm... am I supposed to imagine everyone in the world slowly jogging along with an iconic 'times' figurehead leading the way...? Those that stop to rest, unable to keep up, falling behind, simply get left there ? How do they suddenly resurface amongst the pack, sometimes often ahead of others that have steadily maintained a decent pace.... I ask you..? The bunching... oh the bunching.... but still those I see in the rear suddenly appear at the front, time after time... maybe that's what you mean by moving with the times... it's often erratic and not constant at all... so I'd hazard a guess that no-one 'isn't' moving with the times...  we just don't quite know what speed to travel...

It's funny, I saw an article yesterday where the service provider TPG announced it was discontinuing their 'Dial-Up' service!! I suppose there are a lot of folk (cardigan wearing, comb-over, false teeth types) who trundle along saying, "It still does the same job. Why do I need a new one?". God bless them. Maybe I am one of them. I don't have a mobile phone. Oh, I did have one which I found in the bottom of a Corn Flakes box which had a tiny screen and did nothing more than send excrutiatingly long-to-compose text messages. But when it comes to PCs and gaming I do try to keep up - not because I might fall behind - but because I don't want to miss out.

There are games coming out now that are 60 gig downloads!! Spend a bit of time on Imgur and you'll rack up a gig very quickly.

I was worried that PG would be quite a large download but I was happy to hear the size of it. Don't think its a "huge" download. And it's important to me. I live in an apartment/holiday complex with shared internet. I pay $2 a week for the service but the manager doesn't know who downloads what, so I occasionally download a few gigs worth of something or other and when he showed me the data figures after I complained about slow internet I gulped, realising it was me, and blamed the "bloody holiday makers".

2015...is that the time already? Where's my slippers?

They have Dial Up I use a crank on my phone to call out for a pizza.

You have probably done this but run the disk cleanup tool but more importantly assuming you have windows 7 .. when you run this tool click on "Clean up System files" this is a button you will see - will be able to click on when you run disk clean up I got back 1.5 gigs but then I had a lot of .. something I didn't need it may have been Windows Update files or something.

If ever you reload your pic from scratch if you ever have not used a disk imaging software I would suggest Macrium Reflect you can image your drive c and get it back to the way it was .. was not is .. according to your last image but anyway if you do this do not install ANYTHING to your drive C except for what only installs there  what only allows you to only install on c: drivers, patches everything else always install it somewhere else. try always to choose custom install and install things someplace else. .. but reading your post you have probably done this already ... anyway one other thing I did a complete fresh install of drive c went to Windows update - oh by the way I keep that setting at DO NOT INSTALL Updates but keep me informed of them. Ok so I updated windows then the next few days it kept wanting me to update more and it kept sucking up gigs of harddrive space so I basically decided not to instal anything else from windows update not even the important files unless I think it is a concern it kept istallling stuff for my microsoft office pro program screw it no more updates for that it works fine screw the security ....

Oh you could also but a new harddrive get an SSD if you do not already have one they are cheaper now I got a great 256 gig for 140 and took out my 120 gig drive C harddrive ... I actually have lots of space now but screw windows update we are through .. got 3 other harddrives on my system EVERYTHING else goes there ..
