nice work, doing away with the daytime version 

this covers both. about the same on the FPS small hit here and there.

i would like to see some more with the night lights option.

I like the course but on my rig is doesnt look very dark, certainly nothing like the above video.

Have had to turn down brightness contrast and saturation settings extremely low to get anything like a nighttime scene.

Have had to turn down brightness contrast and saturation settings extremely low to get anything like a nighttime scene.

 

Probably to do with whether you have dynamic skies turned on or off in the options.

In case you did not know you have to change the time of day in weather options to night time hours.

try this with thunderstorms going

a lot darker FPS 40-70s

It does.  I have played night rounds since the game came out.  The only difference would be that the fairways and greens are not lit up like this course is.
