Yeah, the motherboard is toast. I did however recall having a 7 year old AMD HP computer in storage. Took it's motherboard and threw it in my case and plugged everything in and booted right up. Taken about a 5-10 FPS hit, but at least I'm golfing again and it will do until I can procrure a new motherboard. Pretty elated right now.

If you overclocked the CPU then you most likely need to reset the CMOS/BIOS. If you have not entered your BIOS or used OC software to do the job for you then the methods I would would post are irrelevant.  If you did OC the system I will tell you several ways to reset CMOS/BIOS so it runs on default settings.

We all have made the mistake of replacing a graphics card or CPU only to find the computer will not Post on startup, just a blank-black screen.  It's one of those "we learn the hard way".  It cost me a good board a long time ago because I thought I must have damaged it during a Video Card upgrade. (which also requires uninstalling the previous Video Card's Driver).

Send me a PM if you want the various methods of resetting CMOS/BIOS to defaults.

I never overclocked and I did clear the CMOS. I even did it through the 4 hour method. Thanks for the offer though.

Good job!  Was a flawed motherboard afterall.   Asus is my brand for mobo's.   Corsair for Memory, PSU and CPU-Closed-Loop-Cooling.
