Rory Mccllroy's iron went over the 12th green for a total of 330 yards and I hit my driver about 275 in this game. I'm not saying the base carrys should be increased, but I feel that overswing is not giving enough extra distance, at least on 3C. I find that I only get about 5-7% more distance on a 122% swing.

I cannot get the distance over 300Y (@ Calm) on the practice FW even with Hard selected and even on overswing (mouse).  All overswing does with my mouse is exaggerate the dispersion L/R.  Does bugger all for distance (certainly not an additional 20Y lets say) although I am happy to be corrected!

I'd be 203rd in driving distance on the PGA tour, lol.

I think you are using the caliber ball, right? Avant is 13-15 yards longer on average.

Club distances aren't long enough in the game, especially with the irons and wedges.

That's right, but I use the avant on occasion and I still struggle to hit 300 on the regular. I just wish we would get more distance in overswing.

I agree. I've said it before that the risk/reward of overswinging is not where it should be. I'd like to see all the clubs get a slight distance boost. I see the pros (and I'm not a "pro" by any means) hit a 5 iron 230 yards and in the game you can barely get to 190 with full overswing. It's not a big deal, just something I'd like to see get closer to real life if you fashion your ingame golfer as a professional.

I'd rather see something done to reduce the pro distances in real life and get them closer to JNPG's!  :)
