Great job so far! I live 35 minutes from the Amana course and have played it many times. It's a beautiful course that's carved out of a mature forest. Lots of wildlife and beautiful colors in the Fall. It can be tough due to steep elevation changes, a few long carries, and very few flat lies. Your rendition of Hole #4 captures the feel of the hole very well.

 

The original clubhouse burned down not too long ago, and the new building is not quite as impressive, but it's functional.

 

Good luck in your continued work on this course! I'm really looking forward to playing it!!!

Thank you SDL, that's really helpful since I only have google maps/bingmaps to use for planting and that's only from space. lol

I know plantings use a lot of "designer creativity" but going blind like this, you never know, so was happy to find out, you think I'm on the right track.

 

Yes the clubhouse burned down and DPRoberts was kind enough to build me the new clubhouse and it's spot on!

galloway was tree heavy too, just plant speedtree at holes and as you get further out fil it with 2plane spruce trees

Thank ya DoGgz. I'm going to take it as far as I can with speedtree, if I can keep the fps's good on my rig, it will be good on all rigs.

While not a gamer, I've seen other video games with avatars, not impressed. Maybe the human look technology is quite there yet.  I really don't know. It's beyond my pay grade.

Ok, but how would it get incorporated into a game such as JNPG or TGC. Nice toy, but limited application IMHO. Thanks for the link, however, interesting!

like the water/creeks/rocks/eleavtions twists and turns and the sounds all adds spice and visuals to game which is the main aim

Inverness  great course there. i lived in Toledo for a while and was young & still connected to the golf business,

and did get to play there a few times. another can't wait.
